2023第一期GBASE数据库有奖征文大赛来啦！
To better serve every user and encourage users and partners to output and share more GBase database tutorials and innovative practices, we held the "First GBase Essay Contest" last year, which received positive social response. Now, the essay contest is back! With the same recipe, GBASE General Data Technology Co., Ltd. and MoTianLun community jointly announced the "First 2023 GBASE Database Prize Essay Contest" is officially launched! This time we have prepared gifts worth tens of thousands of yuan, including everything from flying gadgets, wearable items, to home decorations – all arranged for you.

1. Article Submission: April 25, 2023 - May 31, 2023
2. Preliminary Selection: April 26, 2023 - June 5, 2023
3. Expert Evaluation: June 6, 2023 - June 9, 2023

Open to the whole society, including DBAs, developers, students, and all kinds of database enthusiasts
3. Essay Topics
1. Technical Category:
1) Understanding and application methods of GBase database products in actual projects or adaptation processes, including deployment and installation, data migration, configuration optimization, system analysis, encountered problems and solutions, etc.;
2) Propose constructive product feature suggestions based on application scenarios;
3) Share insights on database selection or typical application scenarios during digital transformation in various industries, best practices, typical solutions, application cases, and replacement feasibility analysis of GBase database.
2. Other Category:
1) Propose constructive suggestions for industry ecosystem development based on application scenarios;
2) Explore ways GBase database can integrate with industry applications or hot events, and industry insights, etc.;
3) Share your stories with GBase, including but not limited to what you saw and thought during your contact with GBase, interesting anecdotes, or associations from GBase to other people and things – novel themes, unique materials, light-hearted writing, and fascinating.
4. Submission Requirements (Key points! Only by grasping the rules can you have a chance to win~)
1. Write an original article related to GBase database based on the provided topics, with a word count of more than 600 (excluding code).
2. Articles must be first published on MoTianLun, the title must include the name of a GBase product, and must be tagged with "#GBase征文2023第一期#+#类别名称# (choose one: Technical, Other)".
3. Entries for this first phase of the contest must be published within the specified period, i.e., April 25 - May 31.
PS: Staff will review all articles. Reposts, rewritten articles, and articles heavily similar to existing GBase technical materials will be disqualified.
5. Prizes
The contest will select by vote count, within the two major categories (Technical and Other), one First Prize, two Second Prizes, three Third Prizes, and unlimited Finalist Awards. That is, there will be a total of 2 First Prize winners, 4 Second Prize winners, and 6 Third Prize winners.
Finalist awards can be combined with outstanding article awards. All prizes will be sent out within 7 working days after the award announcement.

7. Event Arrangement and Award Evaluation Rules
1. Article Submission: April 25, 2023 - May 31, 2023
Publish original articles meeting the requirements on MoTianLun community (https://www.modb.pro) during the event.
2. Preliminary Selection Stage: April 26, 2023 - June 5, 2023
A preliminary review will be organized for every 50 collected essays, and the results will be announced. You can check the results by replying "初审" (preliminary review) to the "GBASE Database" official account. Each blogger can have at most 3 articles shortlisted.
Articles that pass the preliminary review will receive a Finalist Award
3. Expert Evaluation Stage: June 6, 2023 - June 9, 2023
Expert judges will comprehensively evaluate based on article quality (including novelty, completeness, logic, formatting, practical significance, readability, etc.) as well as views and likes. The top 6 in each category will be reposted on the official account for promotion and voting.
4. Award Announcement Stage: June 15, 2023
The evaluation results will be announced through MoTianLun community and GBASE Database official account, and Outstanding Article Awards will be issued.
