【GBASE Event】The 1st “GBase Technical Essay Contest” Voting Begins – Cast Your Vote for the Grand Prize Article

Hello everyone! After more than two months, the first “GBase Technical Essay Contest” jointly organized by GBASE and the Modb.pro community has come to a close. Thank you to all authors for your enthusiastic participation, and thank you to our readers for your warm support. We received a total of 65 submissions for this contest, of which 29 articles passed the preliminary review. According to the previously announced selection process, the judging experts selected the best articles based on factors such as article quality, page views, and likes. From all the shortlisted articles, 10 outstanding articles have been selected and reposted to the “GBASE” official account. Starting today, voting will be opened for these 10 outstanding articles. We will award the first prize, second prize, and third prize based on the final vote counts, with rewards of 3000 yuan, 1000 yuan, and 500 yuan JD Card, respectively. In order to build sustainable business development, we plan to introduce an MPP database cluster architecture to handle existing and future massive structured data for complex analytical queries, thereby optimizing the resource utilization of the core database platform. The domestic substitution of databases has been a technology hotspot in recent years. Whether from a technical or industry policy perspective, it will have a significant impact on the sustainable future development of our own data platform. By conducting POC prototype verification tests and accumulating technical reserves, we aim to accelerate the domestic replacement of the database platform; we also hope that our work can provide some reference for peers.

The user experience is very good, especially when dealing with complex queries without performance degradation. Its usage scenarios have gradually expanded, providing strong support for daily operations and product innovation.
