Product Introduction
To address the insufficient support of traditional centralized databases for high concurrency and high throughput requirements, and to meet the stringent demands of financial core systems for database performance, stability, and security, GBASE, leveraging over a decade of distributed development experience, released a new multi-model multi-state distributed database GBase 8c suitable for OLTP applications in 2022.
GBase 8c is a multi-model multi-state distributed database built on openGauss 3.0.0, supporting multiple storage modes such as row storage, column storage, and in-memory storage, as well as various deployment forms including standalone, primary-standby, and distributed. GBase 8c features high performance, high availability, elastic scalability, and high security, supports strongly consistent distributed transactions, and supports mainstream RC and RR transaction isolation levels. It can be deployed on physical machines, virtual machines, containers, private clouds, and public clouds, providing secure, stable, and reliable data storage and management services for core systems in key industries, internet business systems, and government and enterprise business systems.
Course Introduction
This course starts from zero basics of GBase 8c product, explaining the principles and basic usage of GBase 8c database. The entire course is divided into two stages: learning and examination, two weeks of study, one mock test, and two certification exam opportunities. The entire course is organized as an online learning bootcamp for training and examination, allowing participants to gradually and easily master the basics of domestic databases through a scientifically reasonable arrangement.
Learning Objectives
Help students understand the working principles, functional features, and deployment strategies of GBase 8c, and help them establish basic concepts of distributed database architecture.
Enable students to master the installation, management, and maintenance of GBase 8c database in standalone and distributed cluster versions, and be able to solve some cluster status anomaly issues.
Enable students to master the use of GBase 8c database client, basic SQL operations, including adding, deleting, modifying, and querying data in the database, managing and assigning user permissions, and viewing system tables.
Learn about table sharding, storage engines, how to use various indexes in the distributed form of GBase 8c, as well as functions such as viewing distributed plans and SQL tuning under various combinations.

Training Process
Registration: To participate in the training, you need to register first. After successful registration, you can start learning (available on mobile, tablet, or computer).
Email Notification: On the day the course starts and the first day of review, registered students will receive training notification emails about the course start and exam. Please check your mailbox (ensure the email address is correct).

Class Format: Online video recorded courses. During the learning phase, one lesson is unlocked at 7:00 AM every day, and study time is self-arranged.
Exercises: After-class exercises + stage quizzes to timely understand learning effectiveness.
Certification Exam: Online exam. Those who meet the learning conditions will receive an exam coupon. Those who pass the exam will receive a free GBase Management Engineer certification certificate (electronic).
