The GBASE Training Center plans to hold this year's 10th “GBase 8a MPP Cluster Database Certification Training Course” in December 2022, enabling quick mastery of the new big data analytical MPP database. Product Introduction
GBase 8a MPP Cluster database (abbreviated as 8a Cluster) is a domestically developed, leading large-scale distributed parallel processing database cluster independently developed by GBASE, and has been widely deployed in finance, telecommunications, government, national defense, enterprises and institutions. The 8a Cluster has become a powerful support for data warehouses and decision support systems, with nearly 90% of users stating that this product has superior performance and comprehensive functionality. Its positive market feedback has led more and more users to seek in-depth learning.
Course Introduction
This course starts from zero basics of the 8a Cluster product, explaining the principles and basic usage of the 8a Cluster database. The entire course is divided into two stages: learning and examination, with 14 days of learning, two unit tests, and two certification exam opportunities. The entire course is organized as an online learning bootcamp, allowing participants to steadily and easily master the fundamentals of domestic databases through a well-structured arrangement.
Learning Objectives:
Help learners understand the working principles, functional features, and deployment strategies of the 8a Cluster, helping them establish basic concepts of database MPP architecture.
Enable learners to master the installation, management, and maintenance of the 8a Cluster database, and be able to solve some cluster status anomalies.
Enable learners to master data operations on a single virtual cluster database, including CRUD operations on data within the database, managing and assigning user permissions, viewing system tables, etc.

Training Outline
Target Audience
Targeted at database administrators, operators, and developers;
Students or graduates willing to engage in work related to domestic databases;
Personnel with a basic knowledge of Linux and databases required.
Training Process
Registration: To attend the training, you must first register. After successful registration, you can proceed with learning (mobile, tablet, or computer all supported).
Email Notification: On the day the course starts and the first day of review, registered participants will receive training notification emails about the course start and exam. Please check your mailbox (ensure the email address is correct).
WeChat Study Group: After successful registration, a teacher's corporate WeChat will be displayed. It is recommended to add the teacher as a friend and leave a message with “8a, name and phone number used during registration”. After verification, you will be invited to join the study and communication group (participation is voluntary for registered participants, group rules must be observed, no outsiders).
Class Format: Online pre-recorded video courses. During the learning phase, one course is unlocked daily at 7:00 AM, and you can schedule your own study time.
Exercises: After-class exercises and stage tests to promptly understand learning effectiveness.
Certification Exam: Online exam. Exam coupons will be issued to those meeting the learning conditions. Those who pass the exam will receive a free GBase Management Engineer certification certificate (electronic).
