Product Introduction

GBase 8s is a database product with completely independent intellectual property rights from GBASE Nanda General, a B2-level (international level 4) secure database supporting national cryptographic algorithms. It supports mainstream development interfaces such as SQL99/2003, ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, GCI (OCI/OCCI), Python, etc.; SQL is highly compatible with common syntax of Oracle, MySQL, DB2, SQL Server, PG databases, maximizing the reuse of developers' database experience; complete domestic ecosystem, deeply adapted to domestic operating systems, middleware, and CPU chips; supports shared storage clusters and two-site three-center high-availability deployment.

GBase 8s is suitable for OLTP application scenarios, including key core business systems in the financial and telecommunications industries, as well as information systems in security, party and government, national defense and other industries with high requirements for information security, capable of providing 7*24 uninterrupted operation processing capability.

Course Introduction

This course starts from scratch, learning GBase 8s database principles, installation and deployment, management and maintenance, and basic SQL syntax. Learning objectives: Be able to quickly deploy the 8s standalone version on the Linux operating system, master basic operations such as database operation and maintenance management, data import and export, backup and recovery, and understand stored procedure coding.
